Keynsham Sports Injury Clinic was established in 1998 above the chiropractic clinic in Keynsham. It is a modern well-equipped gym with air conditioning. Initially this clinic was opened as a rehabilitation gym for the benefit of existing patients as research had proved that long-term sufferers of back/neck pain could benefit from this type of exercise, which aims specific exercises to improve and reduce recurrence of pain by strengthening their muscles around the weakened area. Patients are supervised at all times by a sports therapist and a maximum of six patients are in the facilities at any one time to ensure the patients get the best supervision available.

The hours available have steadily increased as the gym has become more popular with patients who have enjoyed the benefits of this type of exercise.

In 1999 massages and other sport injury treatments where introduced within the clinic and are largely given in the rehabilitation gym. Details of the various types of treatments that can be given can be viewed on the massage or rehabilitation pages. Massages are also undertaken at Kingswood, Midsomer Norton and Frenchay & Downend Chiropractic Clinics.

Sports therapist William Eke undertakes the running of the rehabilitation facilities and massage therapies in all of the clinics.

Appointments are available daily in the Rehabilitation Gym Also massage and sport injury appointments are available daily
